Product Description
During our breaks here at gadgetshop HQ, we've become rather accustomed to radio controlled duck racing. While this has it's charms, a collective sigh can be heard after Ducktor Who wins time after time and we wonder if - out there somewhere - there's more to water related sports. Those clever chaps at the delightfully (and somewhat accurately) named Mayhem must have heard our pleas, and have responded with something that looks like it's right out of the boat chase scene at the beginning of The World is Not Enough. Introducing the stealth boat. To merely call this a remote control power boat is doing it a disservice. And it packs a powerful punch behind it's super sleek looks - it's capable of speeds up 30kph from twin propellers. And it doesn't stop there - it's ultra manouvreable round corners, just like a real power boat, and can keep going for up to half an hour from a single charge . The built in safety motor will cut off if not immersed in water, so you needn't worry about ploughing into your dog/cat/newborn baby brother.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointing   June 28, 2010
John Galvin (Ennis, Ireland)
I was quite disappointed with this boat. It's reasonably fast, but that's about it.
Poor battery life and poor control spoil the rest of the experience.
Two propellors drive the boat and it turns by switching one of the propellors off.
The result is a poor turning performance, made worse by the fact that there's no
reverse.
It might engage a young child for a short while, but overall it's not worth the money.

2 out of 5 stars not what i expected   April 3, 2010

it was a rubish product, after opening the packaging it took me about 15 minutes to find the anntennai for the remote controll, its hidden well so be careful. I took the boat out on a pond and it chugged the whole way, not one constant speed it had small bursts of power which was something to do with the pressure sensors on the prepellors, can be fixed though - overall rubish product.

5 out of 5 stars Very Happy   November 24, 2009
Ms. Charlotte James (UK)
Bought the Stealth boat for my son's birthday . Really pleased with it . Coped v well in the sea with waves ( small ones ). Good speeds especially on a flat pond .He did think it was drifting a bit to left after a while , but not enough to cause a problem or spoil his fun. Great ,would recommend.

Very fast boat and very good value for money. The only problem we had was the same as any remote toy, the radio is on the same wavelength as all the other boats so we couldn't use it when someone else was using theirs.

Great boat, very fast. Battery limited to about 20-25mins depending on speed but plenty long enough to enjoy and race around a boating pond! (5 hour recharge time).
