5 out of 5 stars Remote control aeroplane. Great fun!   April 23, 2010

A remote control aeroplane seems like, if you don't spend a lot of money, it is not going to be very good. But, I have to say, this aeroplane is fantastic; it is reasonably priced, cheap to run, almost no maintenance and as it says, virtually indestructable, which is exactly the case. This aeroplane can crash land in the worst places and angles, and still be OK. The controls are intuitive. But make sure, if you use it outside, that it is not too windy. Otherwise, you will loose it. I would bet that there are lots of people with remote controls, but with nothing to fly.

5 out of 5 stars Great Fun to Fly   January 14, 2010

This model is great fun to fly - but one must follow some rules i.e. fly in an open field with the wind speed less than 5mph - this means flying on a calm day. Flying it in other conditions is a recipe for disaster.
If you don't like reading instructions, flying it straight out of the box may disappoint you. Before the first flight ensure that the engines are balanced. The easiest way to do this is as follows: Charge the aircraft battery, place the aircraft power switch to ON and then put the aircraft back in its rest in the box. Power ON the controller and pull the trigger half way - both engines run. Holding the controller in the upright position, adjust the yellow knob for the lowest engine note/noise. You will hear the beat note of the engines as they are set to very nearly the same speed. Just to test - tilt the controller to the left then to the right and note that the right and left engine alternately speeds up. You are ready to go flying.
Taking the above steps will ensure that the aircraft will take to the air without mishap. I get 15 minutes of pleasurable flying before I need to re-charge the aircraft battery. This is a great aircraft for novice and experienced flyers alike. Great fun.
